Fall is my favorite time of the year and I love spending time outside around a fire or on my back porch with a blanket and a cup of coffee. I love the bright colors, the beautiful decor, pumpkins, warm days and cool nights, everything that is fall.
So I wanted to share a few ideas on how to transform your home into a comfy, cozy spot, a perfect place to spend a fall afternoon and evening.
#1 To me the number one item you need is a fire pit or fireplace to spend a cool evening setting around. This can be as simple or as elaborate as you want to make it but nothing says fall more than a warm fire to cozy upto on a cool evening.
#2 You needs lots of pillows and blankets!
One of my favorite ways to get a room ready for fall is by making sure it has plenty of cozy accents. Pillows and blankets help add pops of fall color and soft textures!
Whether you are on the back porch or in the livingroom, this is true.
#3 Fall decor. I love decorating for the fall especially my fireplace mantel and kitchen table.

This time of the year always brings back memories of family gatherings, bonfires, hayrides, visits to Cades Cove, and rides to see the beautiful way that God has painted the mountains this time of the year. I want to bring some of that same feeling into my home and hope you can as well.
